Sydney opera houseThis location is the most famous landmark in Australia. The Sydney Opera House is home to a beautiful building and beautiful music. This place was finished and officially opened in 1973. The site of the Sydney Opera House was initially used as Fort Macquarie which was designed by Francis Greenway in 1817. Later, it was the site of the Bennelong Point Tram Depot. This in turn was demolished to make way for the Opera House.

uluruUluru or Ayers Rock is a massive monolith found in Australia. This rock got its name from the aborigine people who were the original inhabitants of this land. This was a sacred place to them. This place is known as the center of the universe. Stretching 348 meters above ground, this massive rock is primarily located underground with a circumference of nearly 10 miles. This national treasure is said to change colors based on the time of day or year. People travel from all over to witness this incredible sight.

Port arthurPort Arthur is one of the most fascinating landmarks in Australia. Home to the original penal colony, this site has been remodeled and set up as a museum to truly study the past of Australia. There are still some of the original ruins located on the site, but the most popular place at Port Arthur is the Isle of the Dead cemetery. The tour through the cemetery will truly haunt you.
